What you can expect
- You are responsible for the planning of your area of merchandise management key figures from sales planning to limit planning
- From the flow of goods controlling you derive appropriate measures for optimization such as seasonal planning, sales promotion measures, sale measures or reductions
- You play an active role in process optimization and the further development of planning, control and analysis tools (in the direction of predictive analytics)
- You optimize our business processes in stationary retail through reporting and forecasting of all relevant KPIs, i.e. analysis and control of turnover, inventory and sales in order to maximize commercial opportunities and identify risks
- You optimize the in-season performance by carefully analyzing the assortment and deriving suitable measures to increase sales, always in coordination with the adjacent departments such as controlling, purchasing, sales, logistics, etc.
What you bring with you
- Professional experience in the retail environment in a comparable position with a focus on merchandise planning
- A strong affinity for numbers and data, enjoy diving deep into data and recognizing patterns
- A structured, meticulous way of working and the ability to make complex issues clear and understandable
- Experience in working with merchandise management systems, planning systems such as SAP and BI tools
- Team spirit, initiative and a desire to embed data-driven work in the company and develop it further together
- Good communication skills, decisiveness and assertiveness
