Incoming goods inspection/quality control
Our Regional Warehouse East in Magdeburg is one of our new warehouse locations with a size of approx. 50,000 m², with over 45,000 pallet spaces and functional areas. It handles the business processes of goods receipt, storage and retrieval, order picking and distribution. It thus forms the interface between purchasing and the distribution of goods to the soldiers at one of our more than 100 service stations.
YOUR TASKS:
- Your tasks include processing incoming goods (new and used goods), including checking that they are complete.
- You will be responsible for the professional inspection of incoming clothing and equipment for conformity to specifications and proper production.
- You will identify, evaluate and digitally document any deviations found.
- You will also carry out the final inspection of the goods carefully and in accordance with defined quality standards.
- If required, you will also actively support the processing of complaints.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed training as a seamstress, tailor or shoemaker
- Ideally professional experience as a quality inspector in the field of clothing, shoes/leather goods or another textile processing industry
- A high level of quality awareness and an extremely careful and reliable way of working
- Experience in the use of digital systems / merchandise management systems
- Good written and spoken German language skills
