For over 70 years,FRANK WALDER has stood for perfect fits, high-quality fabrics and modern women's fashion with high standards. As a family-run company in its third generation, we develop collections that inspire our customers season after season - with a sure instinct for trends, quality and wearable elegance.
We are looking for a creative personality with a special passion for knitwear and shirts in the full-service business.
Your tasks:
- Design and development of styles within the FRANK WALDER collection in the full store
- Design focus: knitwear and shirt styles, with a perspective on other product groups in the collection (e.g. ready-to-wear and outdoor)
- Development of commercially successful styles, taking into account fit, quality and target group
- Translating trends into wearable, brand-appropriate product ideas
- Creation of design sketches, model concepts and design briefings
- Development of models in collaboration with international full-line suppliers
- Accompanying products from design to sample development to product maturity
- Close cooperation with product management, purchasing, cutting technology and technical development
Your profile:
- Completed studies in fashion design or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in womenswear design, with a focus on knitwear and shirts
- Good knowledge of the full range business
- A keen sense of fit, quality and commercial styles
- Experience in working with international suppliers
- Structured, independent way of working and ability to work in a team
- Very good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ideally experience with Tex-Define/Koppermann - but this is not a prerequisite
