Product Developer (m/f/d)
(PPE & Technical Textiles - Authorities)
What you can expect from us:
- User-oriented product development: In the tender business for MIL&LE in compliance with the technical specifications (in Adobe Illustrator) under the aspect of "design to cost".
- Collaboration in the collection development
- Tenders: Creation of design, offer and submission of tender documents
- Project management: planning, deadline tracking and maintenance of project-related timelines. Responsibility for project coordination in close cooperation with all relevant interfaces.
- Calculation and price negotiations: Joint responsibility for costing and pricing, including obtaining quotations, plausibility checks and price optimizations for finished parts.
- Model management: Recording and managing materials and models in the PLM system.
- Production control: Organization and control of production-relevant processes up to SMS status, commenting on samples and issuing production releases.
- Product marketing: Creation of labels, tech packs, spec sheets, trade fair support
What you bring with you:
- Completed vocational training in clothing technology with experience in the field of technical textiles, preferably in MIL&LE
- Relevant experience in product development for at least 2 years
- Market understanding, specialist knowledge of functional materials and knowledge of PPE testing and certification
- Good knowledge of ERP/PDM systems, common Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Illustrator
- Experience in project management and process control
- Independent, self-reliant and solution-oriented way of working
- Sense of responsibility, strong organizational skills, cost awareness, flexibility and strong communication skills
- Ability to turn creative ideas into economic solutions
- High degree of team spirit and openness to new challenges
- Excellent German and very good English skills
