YOUR ROLE:
- As a Product Developer, you’ll work closely with design and brand partners on the technical implementation and coordinate the development process from prototype development to market readiness.
- As a Product Developer, you’ll be involved from the very beginning and oversee the product’s fit and workmanship. You’ll also collaborate with brand partners to refine and optimize the manufacturing process.
- With your eye for detail, you’ll be responsible for all technical production documentation, such as size charts, bill of materials, and product descriptions.
- You ensure that all quality and product requirements—including the latest technology, workmanship, fit, and features—are met.
- You can contribute innovative solutions to optimize the product and implement them.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- You have completed an apprenticeship or a comparable degree in apparel technology or engineering and, ideally, have at least 3 years of professional experience in technical product development.
- You have knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, as well as fit and pattern making.
- You love guiding trendy products through the development process to market readiness in collaboration with manufacturing facilities (Europe/Asia/Central America) and enjoy creating technical production documentation, where you can apply your experience with modern manufacturing techniques.
- You are a team player with a structured, independent, and responsible work style, and you can adapt flexibly to new situations, while your assertiveness and analytical thinking set you apart.
- You excel with your very good written and spoken English skills and are proficient in using Adobe Illustrator and MS Office.
