- Completed training or degree in apparel technology or a comparable field
- At least 3 years of experience in the tasks listed above
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and a strong focus on quality
- Experience in technical collaboration with product development, patternmaking, and international production partners
- Experience with international quality and safety certifications (e.g., OEKO-TEX, GOTS, PPE regulations) is a plus
- Proficiency in using IT systems—ERP, PLM, and analysis tools (e.g., quality analyses and evaluations)
- Willingness to travel in an international environment
- Enjoyment of supporting and developing international production partners
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
Quality Manager (m/f/d) – Apparel Technology
Here’s what you can expect:
- Ensuring Schöffel’s quality standards from product development through to delivery
- Providing technical support for products from development through to mass production, with a focus on quality and manufacturability
- Working closely and coordinating technically with the development and product teams of the SPORT, TEC, and PRO business units
- Approving the quality of Schöffel products in your area of responsibility
- Managing and monitoring finished-part inspections (AQL inspections) at our international production partners, including documentation and evaluation of inspection results
- Ensuring quality improvement at our international manufacturers through targeted measures
- Serving as the point of contact for manufacturers regarding quality issues during production
- Handling complaints and quality defects, as well as initiating improvement processes
- Analyzing customer complaints and deriving corresponding quality measures
- Conducting quality analyses, including determining defect rates, for internal and external follow-up
- Monitoring and implementing international certification standards, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant standards, particularly in the areas of PPE and eco-friendly textile certifications
