Our growing Design & Development Department in Murg is looking to expand its team with a
Beachwear Product Developer (m/f/d)
The role:
- Responsibility for the pattern development of beachwear collections (tunics, dresses, accessories, etc.) based on sketches, from prototype to production approval
- Creating patterns using a CAD system, including grading
- Preparation of all technical documentation
- Conducting fittings to ensure proper fit
- Measuring and quality control of prototypes and size runs
- Written sample evaluation and guidance on next development steps to ensure fit, workmanship, and quality
- Close collaboration with design, purchasing, sewing, and cutting departments
Our new team member should have:
- A solid education or degree in apparel and patternmaking
- Professional experience in the apparel industry
- Pattern-making experience using a CAD system
- Good knowledge of sewing and manufacturing processes
- A keen sense of materials, fit, and quality
- Ideally, experience using technical drawing programs such as Illustrator or Koppermann
- Ability to work independently, teamwork skills, dedication, flexibility, and reliability
- Good command of English
