The Bundeswehr’s uniforms are our business.
From specifications through tendering, awarding contracts, and quality assurance all the way to logistics, distribution, and reprocessing, Bw Bekleidungsmanagement GmbH (BwBM) is responsible for the entire value chain of Bundeswehr uniforms—from shoes to helmets.
We provide uniforms for approximately 250,000 active-duty service members, reservists, and civilian employees of the Bundeswehr.
Our mission is as comprehensive as the career opportunities we offer our approximately 2,000 employees at our headquarters in Cologne or at one of our roughly 110 locations throughout Germany. We offer secure jobs and are constantly growing.
We are looking for you —for a permanent, full-time position— at our clothing center in Rendsburg for the Osterrönfeld satellite depot (ZIP code 24783) as:
Production Coordinator (m/f/d)
Inbound Goods/Quality Control
The Clothing Center (BZ) is one of our modern, fully automated large-scale warehouses. At the BZ, goods are stored, picked, and shipped to our service stations. It thus serves as the interface between the procurement and distribution of work uniforms for our soldiers. The satellite warehouse in Osterrönfeld supports our Clothing Center in Rendsburg.
There, quality inspectors from various disciplines check the quality of newly delivered and used clothing and equipment upon receipt. Only goods that meet the agreed-upon quality standards are accepted as proper deliveries and transferred to the ownership of the Bundeswehr.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In this role, you will provide technical leadership to employees (m/f/d) in the warehouse department and ensure efficient teamwork.
- Your responsibilities include managing, coordinating, and monitoring on-site warehouse and inspection processes. In doing so, you will ensure compliance with inspection specifications and maintain smooth operational workflows.
- In addition, you will ensure that shift and inspection documentation is properly maintained, thereby contributing to transparent and traceable process execution.
- In addition to performing general administrative tasks, you will actively participate in process optimization initiatives and contribute your own ideas for continuous improvement.
- You will also support the Assistant Plant Manager (f/m/d) and the employees (f/m/d) on the shop floor and assist in handling customer complaints.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed training as a tailor, shoemaker, or apparel technician
- Ideally, business knowledge
- Relevant professional experience and leadership experience (at least 2 years) in a comparable position (e.g., retail, wholesale, warehouse management)
- Experience as a quality inspector/quality control specialist in incoming goods inspection, returns, or final inspection
- Good computer skills (especially Microsoft Office applications) and experience working with inventory management systems
- Strong teamwork skills, a high level of commitment, and an independent, structured approach to work
- Quick learner
- Strong organizational and quality awareness, as well as a service-oriented mindset
WHAT WE OFFER:
As an in-house federal agency, we offer you a secure job with the following benefits:
- Regular working hours with no shift work or weekend work
- Competitive compensation with a clear career progression path
- Corporate benefits (exclusive employee discounts)
- A culture of respect, reliability, and a commitment to excellence
- Individualized training opportunities, both internal and external
- A performance-based compensation system, a culture of active feedback, and, as a rule, an annual performance-based salary adjustment
