From specifications through tendering, awarding contracts, quality assurance, and order management all the way to logistics and processing,Bw Bekleidungsmanagement GmbH (BwBM)is responsible for the entire value chain of Bundeswehr clothing—from shoes to helmets.
We provide uniforms for approximately 250,000 active-duty service members, reservists, and civilian employees of the Bundeswehr.

We are looking for you—for a full-time, permanent position—at our service station in Schwandorf as:
TAILOR / SEAMSTRESS (F/M/D)
In addition to warehousing, the service station is responsible for all business processes—including fitting, lining, reconfiguration, and exchanges—for our customers, and also offers services such as tailoring.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will perform alterations to adjust measurements and carry out specialized alterations.
- You will take measurements and mark garments for alterations.
- You will handle all alteration and tailoring work.
- You will advise customers on clothing selection and fitting.
- You will assist with inventory counts and take on other special tasks.
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed training as a tailor or several years of professional experience
- Knowledge of uniforms and cloth garments is desirable
- Computer skills
- Customer-oriented mindset and approach while working independently
- Ability to work meticulously and meet deadlines with a strong commitment to quality
