For our location in Königswinter, we are looking for a
Purchasing Assistant (m/f/d)
for home textiles, home décor, and accessories
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the buyer in all areas related to purchasing
- Coordinating and handling correspondence with international suppliers
- Product creation and management
- Conducting initial and follow-up inventory planning
- Tracking deadlines and evaluating samples
- Approval of lab dips, strike-offs, etc., for production in consultation with the buyer
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Completed vocational training or degree in business or apparel technology
- Professional experience in the apparel industry (full-scale buying)
- Business acumen and analytical skills
- A structured, goal-oriented, and meticulous approach to work
- Experience with merchandise management systems
- Proficiency in using MS Office 365 applications
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- High level of initiative, team spirit, and the ability to maintain a clear overview even in dynamic situations
