
Apparel Technician with a Focus on Design
(m/f/d) – Full- or Part-Time
We are a small, family-run business that develops functional sportswear for urban outdoor, multisport, and fitness. Our products combine function, comfort, and contemporary design.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced apparel technician (m/f/d) with a focus on design.
Your Responsibilities
- Technical development and support for sports and functional apparel
- Fit evaluation and optimization based on external patterns
- Creation and maintenance of size charts, technical documentation, and specifications
- Conducting, evaluating, and documenting fitting sessions
- Overseeing prototypes, samples, and mass production
- Quality control regarding workmanship, function, and fit
- Independent development and implementation of small, self-contained design lines
- Creating technical drawings and design renderings in Adobe Illustrator
What you bring to the table
- Completed vocational training or a degree in apparel technology, ideally with a focus on design
- Several years of professional experience as a garment technician (m/f/d)
- Preferably experience with sports, functional, or fitness apparel
- In-depth knowledge of pattern-making and fit optimization
- Very good technical understanding of materials, construction, and function
- Business-level proficiency in spoken and written English
- Structured, independent work style
- Ability to work well in a team and enjoy a friendly, family-like work environment
