Bw Bekleidungsmanagement GmbH (BwBM) is responsible for the entire value chain of Bundeswehr clothing - from shoes to helmets - from specification to tendering, awarding and quality assurance to logistics, sales and processing.

CLOTHING OR TEXTILE TECHNICIAN (f/m/d)
as a consultant - laundry services management
Every soldier and civilian employee of the Bundeswehr has the opportunity to have service clothing and equipment cleaned free of charge, provided that it is listed on the clothing and equipment certificate (BAN). Our contractual partners take care of cleaning the approximately 3 million items per year. Our team currently looks after 21 service providers, 3 reprocessing locations, 62 service stations with 5 integrated reprocessing centers, 24 service points and around 1,000 pick-up points. In your role, you will act as the interface between our service providers, regions and customers, making a significant contribution to service levels and customer satisfaction. We will of course provide you with structured and comprehensive training in your new area of responsibility.
YOUR TASKS:
- You will be responsible for organizing and managing laundry services as well as documentation and master data maintenance in the ERP system (for example, creating articles and creating and adapting framework agreements).
- You will create and maintain procedural and work instructions to ensure proper and professional cleaning in accordance with the specifications of the service description.
- You will conscientiously process and document internal and external complaints.
- You will check credit notes and evaluate them in accordance with the budget and in close cooperation with the accounting department.
- Last but not least, you will create and analyze key figures (e.g. for performance audits or make-or-buy analyses) and work on projects to prepare Europe-wide tenders.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed studies in clothing or textile technology, completed training as a clothing technician or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the procurement and management of services
- Good knowledge of common MS Office applications and ideally ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Strong service orientation, meticulous and solution-oriented way of working
- Fluent written and spoken German (level C2)
- Willingness for occasional business trips throughout Germany
