Design Assistant & Administrator (m/f/d)

The role:

• Assisting with collection development from concept to production-ready stage
• Taking responsibility for organizational tasks in the design department to ensure collections are delivered on time
• Serving as the liaison between the departments of textile design, CAD, purchasing, pattern cutting, and sample sewing
• Overseeing and managing sample development through to production approval
• Attending fittings and ensuring compliance with and implementation of fit, quality, and design specifications in collaboration with our garment technicians
• Creating model sketches using Photoshop and Illustrator
• Administrative tasks such as assigning model numbers, creating color charts, etc.

Our new team member should have:

• A degree in fashion design or comparable training
• Initial professional experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of the textile pre-production process, including fabric qualities and printing techniques
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office
• A keen sense of trends, creativity, and attention to detail
• Structured approach to work and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team, dedication, and flexibility
• Good command of English
