DESIGNER MENSWEAR (m/f/d)

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Creative conception and design of the menswear collections (themes, materials, colors, silhouettes, details) within the framework of the collection plan
- Further development of relevant product groups (business, casual, STUDIO) and derivation of strong-selling product ideas
- Trend and market research including competition monitoring/benchmarking and conceptual development of themes and product potentials
- Planning and participation in national/international trade fairs as well as inspiration and research trips
- Managing the product development process from design to sales sample incl. prototype/sample optimization (quality, fit, styling, price)
- Close collaboration with product management, technology, cutting, procurement, sales and other interfaces; participation in collection reviews and handovers
- Communication and coordination with suppliers including travel; organization and follow-up of relevant design and development processes for timely implementation
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed training in the textile/clothing sector or studies (e.g. fashion design)
- Professional experience in menswear design, ideally in a brand-oriented environment
- Creativity, fashion and target group-oriented flair as well as a good understanding of trends, colors and materials
- Good understanding of the market and target group as well as fit, quality and commercial relevance
- Very good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; confident handling of MS Office and ideally PDM/PLM (e.g. Tex-Check Koppermann)
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Structured, independent way of working as well as strong teamwork and communication skills; understanding of organization and processes
- Mobility and willingness to travel nationally and internationally
