Freelance Specialist (m/f/d) in Merchandising and Sales
We are looking for an experienced freelance specialist in merchandising and sales to support the growth of our own brands and private label brands, primarily in the European market but also internationally. This position is ideal for an experienced industry professional with in-depth industry knowledge, strong retail contacts, a modern understanding of digital retail trends, and experience working with premium and luxury fashion clients.
Responsibilities
- Position: Freelance Specialist in Merchandising and Sales
- Focus: Development of in-house brands and private labels, as well as market expansion
- Time Commitment: 10–12 hours per week
- Work Schedule: 2 or 3 days per week (flexible)
- Languages: Fluent in German and English
- Location: Germany (willingness to travel required)
Required Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in the fashion industry
- Extensive experience in sales, merchandise presentation, and brand representation
- In-depth understanding of the DACH market (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland)
- Well-connected with buyers in the upscale and luxury retail sectors
- Experience with private labels and retailer brands is a plus
- Proven track record in building retail partnerships and driving sales growth
- E-commerce and social media expertise, with an understanding of how digital channels drive brand growth and customer loyalty
- Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills
