Your Responsibilities
Logistics & Purchasing:
Fleet
Strategic and operational management of all transportation logistics
Management, motivation, and professional development of approximately 70 drivers and the route scheduling team
Ensuring cost-effective, on-time, and customer-focused deliveries
Continuous optimization of route planning, capacity utilization, productivity, and cost structures
Responsibility for fleet management, vehicle availability, and maintenance planning
Monitoring relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying and implementing improvement measures
Responsibility for the budget, costs, and results of the logistics division
Ensuring compliance with legal and operational requirements
Further development of digitalization projects and automation solutions
Close collaboration with management, production, sales, and customer service
Establishing and promoting a performance-oriented and appreciative leadership culture
Your Qualifications
Successfully completed vocational training or a degree in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation management, business administration, or a related field
Several years of management experience in transportation logistics, distribution, or fleet management
Experience managing large teams of drivers and route planning
Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work
Entrepreneurial mindset and a strong focus on cost and quality
Experience in analyzing and optimizing logistics processes
Proficiency in using route planning and logistics systems
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a team-oriented approach
A hands-on mentality and a passion for driving projects forward
Ideally, experience in service-oriented logistics sectors, such as textile services, food logistics, retail logistics, or distribution logistics
