What You’ll Do Here
- As a department manager, you’ll ensure that our customers in your department feel completely at ease and receive a high level of service, support, and advice
- You’ll continuously analyze sales figures and KPIs, derive recommendations for action from them, and ensure the department’s success while staying within the staffing budget
- A central part of your role is leading and developing your team through open communication on an equal footing, clear goal-setting, and transparent interactions with one another
- You will also be responsible for staffing and vacation scheduling
- Implementing the company’s strategic objectives within the department is in your hands
You’re a good fit for us if…
- You have completed a business apprenticeship, preferably in combination with an additional qualification such as a degree in retail management, retail assistant, or business administration (m/f/d)
- You possess a high level of professional expertise in the textile sector and market knowledge in the merchandise area
- You have already gained several years of extensive leadership experience
- You have a keen sense of customer needs and trends
- Cost- and profit-oriented thinking and action, as well as an understanding of business management contexts, come naturally to you
- A high level of commitment and dedication to service, as well as a strong service orientation
- You have excellent communication skills, as well as an affinity for and expertise in employee development
