In this role, you will combine your flair for fashion and an understanding of customer needs with analytical and entrepreneurial thinking, making a significant contribution to the success of our premium segment.
For our purchasing team in Urdorf, we are seeking—by mutual agreement—a fashion-enthusiast with a keen sense for premium menswear to serve as a Premium Business Buyer for Men (100%).
What you’ll be responsible for:
- You will be responsible for purchasing and strategic product line development in the premium men’s fashion segment
- With your keen sense of trends, brands, and customer needs, you’ll develop an inspiring and commercially successful product range
- You’ll identify relevant trends early on and translate them into attractive product and brand experiences
- You will analyze sales figures and market potential and use these insights to develop targeted measures for your product range
- You will conduct negotiations with our brand partners confidently, collaboratively, and with a clear focus on our business objectives
- You will cultivate long-term relationships with existing suppliers and evaluate new, exciting brands and partnerships
- You’ll visit national and international showrooms, trade shows, and suppliers, bringing fresh ideas to our product portfolio
- You’ll work closely with our internal departments to ensure that merchandising, brand identity, and customer needs work together seamlessly
What sets you apart:
- You have several years of purchasing experience in retail, ideally in the premium apparel sector
- You have in-depth knowledge of textiles, preferably in the men’s ready-to-wear sector
- Fashion is your passion, and you have a keen sense for trends, brands, and the needs of a discerning clientele
- You combine creativity and a keen sense of style with analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
- You impress with your strong negotiation skills, decisiveness, and professional demeanor
- You enjoy working in a team, take on responsibility, and foster a collaborative and engaging work environment
- You remain flexible, resilient, and solution-oriented even in a dynamic environment
- You communicate confidently in German and English; knowledge of French and Italian is a plus
