Product Manager for Women’s Pants (m/f/d)

Full-time | Location: Fürth

In this role, you’ll combine market insight, product knowledge, and a knack for numbers. You’ll identify trends, analyze sales data, further develop product lines, and work closely with Design, Sales, Sourcing, and Marketing to ensure our collections are on point in terms of fashion, commercial viability, and brand identity.

In this position, you’ll take on diverse and exciting responsibilities centered on women’s pants:

  • Developing our product and portfolio strategy for women’s pants is one of your key responsibilities—based on sales figures, market analysis, customer feedback, and brand positioning.
  • You’ll regularly analyze the market, competition, and target audiences to identify relevant opportunities, product line ideas, and product potential.
  • You identify trends early on and translate them into viable product ideas—through trade shows, store visits, competitor analysis, and a keen understanding of our customers.
  • For design and product development, you create clear briefings that address collection strategy, target audience, pricing structure, fit, quality, and commercial potential.
  • You’ll oversee the development of new products and the refinement of existing bestsellers, focusing on fit, materials, functionality, USP, and brand messaging.
  • As the link between design, product development, sourcing, sales, and marketing, you’ll ensure that product ideas, execution, placement, and communication align.
  • You’ll support Sales and Marketing with product knowledge and market insights—including during collection meetings, collection handoffs, and customer visits.
  • Together with Marketing and Sales, you’ll develop product-specific USPs for compelling communication with customers and retailers.
  • You keep an eye on manufacturers, quality standards, and sourcing options, and contribute ideas for new materials, suppliers, and product-related improvements.

What you bring to the table:

  • A college degree or vocational training in product management, fashion design, textiles, apparel technology, or a comparable qualification forms the foundation of your expertise.
  • You already have experience in product or project management, ideally in the fashion or textile industry.
  • You are familiar with collections, materials, fits, and production processes—or are eager to quickly familiarize yourself with these topics.
  • You can analyze trends, customer needs, and market dynamics and use them to develop relevant product ideas.
  • You use sales figures, market information, and customer feedback to prepare analytically and commercially sound decisions.
  • You are known for your structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • You thrive on and enjoy cross-functional collaboration with Design, Sales, Sourcing, and Marketing.
  • Short lines of communication, direct interaction, and a hands-on mentality align with your work style.
  • Customer engagement, trade shows, and store visits are important sources for you to further develop products in line with market needs.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • A permanent position at an established, medium-sized family-owned company with over 50 years of experience in women’s pants.
  • Plenty of creative freedom to actively contribute and develop your own ideas.
  • Flat hierarchies, quick decision-making processes, and direct communication with the relevant departments.
  • Flexible working hours and an open, collegial work environment.
