Overall responsibility for several production teams, currently totaling approximately 180 employees
Technical and disciplinary leadership, as well as targeted professional development of directly assigned team leaders
Ensuring workplace safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost-effectiveness in the production area under your responsibility
Managing the allocation of personnel and resources to ensure stable and efficient production processes
Analyzing production metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement, and further developing processes using lean management and continuous improvement
Driving the digital transformation of production—in particular through the expansion of the MES and the implementation of an increasingly paperless manufacturing environment
Supporting automation projects and new manufacturing technologies from the initial concept through to stable implementation in series production
Actively shape change processes while involving managers and employees and gaining their support for new solutions
Work closely with related departments such as production planning, work planning, development, product management, quality, logistics, maintenance, and human resources
A successfully completed degree in a technical or engineering field, or advanced training leading to a master craftsman or technician certification, with relevant professional experience
Several years of leadership experience in an industrial production environment, ideally managing larger manufacturing units through team leaders
In-depth knowledge of lean management, shop floor management, and continuous improvement
A strong understanding of production metrics, business contexts, and costs
Experience in managing and optimizing production processes, as well as working with ERP or MES systems
Ideally, hands-on experience with digitization or automation projects
A clear, respectful, and engaging leadership style, along with the ability to provide direction and inspire people to embrace change
Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes is a plus—alternatively, a willingness to thoroughly familiarize yourself with the relevant technologies and processes
Experience in medical technology, the textile industry, the automotive or supplier sectors, or comparable mass production is desirable
Decisiveness, a sense of responsibility, initiative, and a high degree of openness to innovation
