The Bundeswehr’s uniforms are our business.
From specifications through tendering, awarding contracts, and quality assurance to logistics, distribution, and reprocessing, Bw Bekleidungsmanagement GmbH (BwBM) is responsible for the entire value chain of Bundeswehr clothing—from shoes to helmets.
We provide uniforms for approximately 250,000 active-duty service members, reservists, and civilian employees of the Bundeswehr.
Our mission is as comprehensive as the career opportunities we offer our approximately 1,900 employees at our headquarters in Cologne or at one of our roughly 110 locations throughout Germany. We offer secure jobs and are constantly growing.
In addition to warehousing, the service station is responsible for all business processes—including outfitting, refitting, re-equipment, and exchanges—for our customers, and also offers services such as tailoring.
In addition to the service station, we also operate a reconditioning center at this location. Our reconditioning centers are responsible for reconditioning, repairing, and recycling the clothing and equipment of the German Armed Forces. All items are processed from receipt through inspection and reconditioning all the way to shipment.
