Your Responsibilities
Management of procurement processes from demand assessment to shipment tracking
Procurement of electronic parts, components, and assemblies, as well as mechanical parts
Close collaboration with the development team on component research, alternative sourcing, and second-source management in the event of product discontinuations and supply bottlenecks
Technical clarification with suppliers regarding component approvals, samples, and initial sample inspection reports (EMPB, PPAP)
Preparation, evaluation, and comparison of supplier inquiries and quotes
Solicitation, evaluation, and negotiation of quotes until a decision can be made
Maintenance of technical master data and bills of materials (BOM management) in close coordination with the development team
Search, development, and evaluation of national and international suppliers
Your Qualifications
Completed business or technical training, ideally with additional training in procurement
Professional experience in the technical procurement of electronic and mechanical components is a plus
Strong technical understanding of electronic components and confidence in working with data sheets, bill of materials, and drawings
Experience handling product discontinuations, allocation issues, and long lead times in the semiconductor market
Proficiency in an ERP or inventory management system
An independent, structured, and meticulous approach to work
Good written and spoken German and English
Initiative, strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to work well in a team
