Your role will take you to the wastewater treatment plant at our Lauenburg site. Here, you will independently operate, maintain, and service all wastewater treatment systems and machinery, as well as the boiler and fresh water systems.
This means you’ll keep a close eye on the individual wastewater treatment processes at all times, monitor their functionality using our central fault reporting system, and quickly resolve any malfunctions that arise.
Specifically, you’ll repair and inspect pumps, valves, and piping, and maintain the pump houses, tanks, and outdoor facilities.
You’ll regularly collect wastewater and sludge samples, perform analyses, and document results and operational data.
Whether you join us as a certified wastewater treatment technician, a gas and water installer, a plant mechanic specializing in sanitary engineering (all g/f/d), or with similar training, we prefer that you already have experience in wastewater treatment at comparable facilities.
We require that you are physically fit to work in wastewater treatment facilities and possess the necessary safety awareness; initial experience in process control technology and proficiency with MS Office would be an advantage.
We require a willingness to work shifts (early/late) and to participate in continuing education upon joining us.
