Freelance Fashion Merchandising & Sales Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Fashion Merchandising & Sales Specialist to support the growth of our private label and in-house brand primarily in the European market and also in International Markets. This role is ideal for a senior professional with deep industry knowledge, strong retail relationships, a modern understanding of digital retail trends and experience working with premium and luxury fashion clients.
Role Details
- Position: Freelance Fashion Merchandising & Sales Specialist
- Focus: Private label & in-house brand development and market expansion
- Commitment: 10-12 hours per week
- Schedule: 2 or 3 days per week (flexible)
- Languages: Fluent in German & English
- Location: Germany based (ability to travel required)
Required Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the fashion industry
- Strong background in sales, merchandising, and brand representation
- Deep understanding of the DACH market (Germany, Austria & Switzerland)
- Well-connected with buyers in high-end and luxury retail
- Experience working with private label and in-house brands is preferred
- Proven track record in building retail partnerships and driving sales
- E-commerce and social media savvy, with an understanding of how digital channels drive brand growth and consumer engagement
- Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills
