- Completed training in apparel technology, a degree in a related field, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in the tasks mentioned above
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing and a strong focus on quality
- Experience in technical collaboration with product development, cutting technology, and international production partners
- Experience with international quality and safety certifications (e.g., OEKO-TEX, GOTS, PPE regulations) is a plus
- Proficiency in using IT systems—ERP, PLM, and evaluation tools (e.g., quality analyses and evaluations)
- Willingness to travel in an international environment
- Enjoy supporting and developing international production partners
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
Quality Manager (m/f/d) – Clothing Technology
What you can expect:
- Ensuring Schöffel’s quality standards from product development through delivery
- Providing technical support for products from development through series production, with a focus on quality and production feasibility
- Close cooperation and technical coordination with the development and product teams of the SPORT, TEC, and PRO business units
- Approving Schöffel products for production in your area of responsibility
- Control and monitoring of finished part inspections (AQL inspections) at our international production partners, including documentation and evaluation of the inspection results
- Ensuring quality improvement at our international manufacturers through targeted measures
- Point of contact for manufacturers regarding quality issues during production
- Handling complaints and quality defects and initiating improvement processes
- Analyzing customer complaints and deriving appropriate quality measures
- Quality analyses, including the determination of error rates for internal and external further processing
- Monitoring and implementing international certification standards and ensuring compliance with relevant standards, particularly in the areas of PPE and environmentally friendly textile certifications
