• Work closely with color & trim designers from various OEM’s
• Understanding customer requirements and expectations and translating them into new leather products
• Develop holistic leather design concepts regarding, color and enrichments. (perforation, embossing embroidery, quilting, printing, etc.)
• Translate concept ideas for enrichments into production ready design drawings
• Trend research and development of global design and trend presentations
• Manage day-to day employee related design activities

• Bachelor's degree in CMF design (color, material, finish), industrial design, graphic design, textile design or related field.
• At least 8-10 years of professional design experience preferably in the field of mobility design.
• 2-3 years demonstrated leadership skills leading cross functional teams as well as managing others within the design team.
• Entrepreneurial spirit to lead a cross-functional team of design, product development, sales and marketing to position Pangea for business success
• Strong research and design skills in materials and color integration, as well as the ability to identify color nuances and demonstrate color differences.
• Strong creativity in developing and promoting unique designs and good knowledge of consumer trends and material and color preferences.
• Fluency with MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as excellent presentation skills are essential.
• Experience and sensitivity to international work environments
• Well organized, self-managed, and motivated creative with a passion for design
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Fluent communication skills in written and spoken German and English are essential
