Lead Product Compliance & Certification - Workwear & Outdoor (m/f/d)

• You will be responsible for all CE and PPE certifications (Cat. I-II, High-Vis, electronics if applicable).
• You select relevant EN standards, interpret them and ensure their application.
• You derive technical requirements for construction, materials and design.
• You ensure standard-compliant product development - from the idea to series release.
• You create and check EU Declarations of Conformity (DoC) and maintain technical files.

Technical sparring & collaboration

• You are the central point of contact for SPORT, TEC and PRO for all compliance issues.
• You support the development teams with standards, security and certification issues.
• You define binding compliance standards in the development process.
• You work closely with Product Management, QA, Purchasing and Legal.

risk management

• You set up product-related compliance risk management.
• You assess technical and liability-related risks and derive measures.
• You provide support with complaints, incidents and potential recalls.

Processes & external partners

• You develop and optimize certification processes and integrate them into PLM/QA systems.
• You manage external inspection bodies and notified bodies.

• A degree in engineering, textile technology, product safety, quality management or similar.
• Several years of experience in product compliance, CE conformity and product certification.
• Very good knowledge of the PPE Regulation, EN standards and CE processes.
• Experience in working with Notified Bodies and testing institutes.
• A structured, responsible and assertive way of working.
• Very good knowledge of English.
• Ideally experience in workwear or technical apparel.
